In this video Stan Fischler mentions a plan to move the team to Island Park. According to Fishcler, Gary Levine from International Sports Marketing is behind this plan. That the arena will be partly funded by him and by the public. Island Park does have access to public transportation, but does it have the infrastructure to support a hockey arena? In my mind this sounds a bit far-stretched , but only time will tell if this is a real option.
